A Spanish woman living in New York gets a distressing call and hurries home to rural Spain with her awkward "All-American" boyfriend in tow. The family matriarch, the community and even the sheep look at him with concern. How will he handle the unfamiliar terrain of small-town Spain and will he be accepted?
I joined the project as trailer editor and delivered in urgency the trailer above for consideration at the Oscar. The film went on to be screened at the Oscar screening room and win multiple awards, notably at Cannes International Film Festival, and it won a Canadian Cinematography Awards for best short film cinematography.
